Lost... the plot
One of things I don't like about Lost is the way in which almost everyone is some kind of combat expert. Kate regularly takes grown men down with her punches, but suffers no injuries or damaged knuckles. Sayid was an Iraqi torturer yet this is seen to translate to mean ninja/assassin/James Bond/hitman. Huh?
Also, nobody does any form of exercise on the show or any kind of martial arts training. But somehow they are supple, honed and fit.
Lost is filled with things that beggar belief, but this combat situation has to be the stupidest thing of all.

Why did nobody kill Hurley?
Is Hurley meant to be a bad guy or a goodie? What function does he serve on the show? To consume food?
I thought that when Sawyer found him chowing down in the forest on stolen supplies, that the game would be up. But for some reason the producers love him. His massive head. His inhumanly large body. His total lack of any skill whatsoever.

Totally Lost
American TV series get a bit muddled with accents. There are lots of Australian actors playing English characters... but they don't sound remotely English.
Penelope's father on Lost? The SAS guy on V? And countless Aussie's on Chuck?
How about Charlie from Lost? He's sort of got a Manchester accent. But his brother is called Liam (Irish) and has a Southern English accent. Confusing? His Mum is called Megan (Welsh). That's an interesting, confusing and non-credible family.

Lost marathon
We've just got season 6 of Lost and have started the series from season 1 again. I already want to kill Charlie, Jack and Kate, can't stand Hurley and have begun to remember various forthcoming events. Season 6 better be worth it!
Lost makes me jumpy and tense. It is not chilled out at all. Reaper is chilled out, but there only about 35 Reaper episodes to watch.

Chuck - mid-season finale?
Episode 13 of Chuck in season 3 was clearly the intended finale to the show. It was odd to see the show climax, and then continue afterwards. Episode 14 seemed odd; unnecessary. Maybe the show was axed and then got funding for more episodes? Who knows?
Babylon 5 did the same thing. Season 4 ends wonderfully, and offers no scope for any real continuance, yet they scraped together fragments of material to produce a 5th lousy season which I have been advised not to watch.
