Tea Sutra

We enjoyed a pleasant pot of tea apiece at Tea Sutra, Newcastle c/o Marc & Yu-chun. It is nice to try unusual tea flavours.

The shop was quite nice but not really like a tea house. It was more of a 'World Culture' scene, complete with salsa music.

We'd have preferred wabi sabi, quiet austerity, bamboo blinds to dim the light and maybe some shakuhachi playing? Despite this, it was a nice cup of tea and a moment of rest after driving from Durham.
