Fasting on a Friday helps us to gain clarity and calm, shrink the stomach and reduce hunger cravings. It also detoxes the body.
We like to go without food from Thursday 6:30 PM approx through to Friday evening meal. We only drink filtered water: warm or room temperature. We put masking tape on the fridge and cupboard doors as a reminder.
We started the day with a long cuddle, followed by 20 mins or so reading spiritual books downstairs, and a very nice walk along the quiet riverbank. No camera today. Then home for a lie down, and off to work for me.
Hubby washed-up, cleaned the kitchen, stripped the bed linen and replaced it, put the laundry on and started his training. All in all, a nice start to the day.
