Ted was so funny!

Ted had so many jokes and unrelenting humour that we were just laughing all day about it.

The Flash Gordon party scene was so funny that we re-wound and watched it twice.

One of the best DVD releases of the year.

Seeking a Friend for the End of the World

What a simple, wonderful movie. We really enjoyed this despite Keira Knightley co-starring.

Dark Knight Nosediving

We re-watch the first 2 Batman movies and really enjoyed them all over again, despite Maggie Gyllenhall looking so totally haggard in Dark Knight.
Then, we watched the latest movie in complete dismay.

What was wrong with it?

I could write a very long list.

Catwoman

Was Anne Hathway's character even referred to as 'Catwoman' in Dark Knight Rising?
Regardless, she was totally lousy.

Not even vaguely sexy. No charisma. No personality. No sex appeal.

X-Files

We're really enjoying The X-Files at the moment.

The only lousy one so far was a Stephen King episode; that guy is so obvious and corny.

Men in Black 3

This was one lousy movie.

Men in Black 2 was really poor, but this was actually worse.





The jokes weren't funny and the 2 lead actors looked so old and tired-out.

We switched it off after an hour and wished we'd done so earlier.

Moonrise Kingdom

We're big fans of Wes Andersons' movies but were so-so about his latest.

It was a bit dodgy.

The 13 year old female protagonist, in her underwear, lounging around for several minutes of screen time and getting felt-up by her 12 year old companion was not really appropriate.

Life Aquatic etc... much better!
